Customized Fashion CAD Training by industry professionals for immediate industry job skills. This Beginner course is for people that took a CAD course in school or have been working in the industry but need to update skills and portfolio with CAD renderings. Condensed one evening course lesson includes sketching bodies, creating multiple colorways, texture mapping prints onto bodies, importing images and prints to execute full CAD board presentations. Learn the software specifically for the requirements for Apparel and Textile Design opportunities and be ready to work the next week! You will receive a training manual and a disc of library flats to practice and to take with you for reference.

Kevin Sheffield is a senior application analyst in the design technology department of Liz Claiborne Inc. He is responsible for all global technology related to apparel and textile design that aids in the product development process. Kevin is also an Adjunct Professor at Marist College in the fashion department. He teaches computer related courses for fashion and textile design. Overall Kevin trains about 8 different applications ranging from the Adobe Suite of product to Gerber’s Web PDM.
