"Spring Blues'"

For my Fellas...

BLUE- is a huge color in high fashion this season! Lets check out some of the influences according to GQ...

1. Z Zegna jacket, Tim Hamilton tee
This perforated jacket from Z Zegna is the perfect après-swim layer for when the sun disappears behind the Hollywood Hills. Just steer clear of the diving area—the suede is pool-worthy in color only.

2. Louis Vuitton, spring 2008
The theme of this collection was "Moon Beach." We'll go ahead and assume it was a blue moon.

3. Sony Ericsson c702a
Sure, it's got a 3.2-megapixel camera with 2x digital zoom, red-eye reduction, geotagging of photos, and even video calling. But more to the point, Sony Ericsson's new c702a is also sand- and waterproof. Whether the pics you take with it are, well, Hockney-esque is another matter entirely.

4. Waterstudio floating home
With nearly 200 million people—and counting—living in flood zones, leave it to the Dutch to envision a housing solution. Amsterdam's Waterstudio is devoted solely to floating structures, and they've developed everything from homes that are completely watertight (okay, they let you hook up a sewage outlet) to a "Melrose Place" concept perfect for L.A. transplants looking to start over on the shores of Las Vegas. No word on what the folks in the rendering are looking at, but we suspect it's a giant tidal wave.

5. Marc by Marc Jacobs cardigan
For spring, Marc Jacobs played with bright accents and asymmetry. Not always a recipe for wearability, but it works here—especially if your favorite color is blue (or brown, or tan).
